Gratitude expressed for restoring the old pension of the employees and officers of Himachal.
Members of the National Pension Scheme Employees Union, Karnataka called on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu in Bengaluru today and expressed gratitude for the restoration of the old pension scheme in Himachal Pradesh.
The members, led by union president Shantaram Teja, thanked the chief minister for taking decisions in favor of government employees since the formation of the Congress government in the state. He expressed the hope that after the formation of the Congress government in Karnataka, the old pension scheme will be restored soon here too. The Chief Minister said that by restoring the old pension scheme in Himachal 1.36 lakh employees have been benefitted. He acknowledged the important contribution of the employees in the development journey of the state and also stressed the commitment of the government for their social security. He said that the state government has given three percent dearness allowance to both employees and pensioners. He assured to provide additional benefits to the employees once the financial condition of the state improves.
