Shimla, 05 April: The Dev Shri Kamrunag Committee from Suket has issued a stern warning against individuals spreading misleading comments and rumors on social media under the name of Bada Dev Kamrunag, the revered deity of Mandi district. The committee has strongly condemned these actions, emphasizing that such posts not only disrespect the deity but also harm the faith of the people in the region.

Legal Action Threatened for Spreading Misleading Information

The Dev Shri Kamrunag Committee Suket Majhothi Rohanda warned that if the objectionable comments were not removed immediately, they would be compelled to take legal action. The committee further urged the public not to support or circulate misleading content online and to work together in upholding the respect and sanctity of the deity.

Secretary of the Committee, Duni Chand Thakur, clarified that neither the administration nor the Suket Sarv Devta Committee was at fault in the incident concerning the worship of Bada Dev Kamrunag on April 2. He explained that false and harmful information was being propagated on social media, damaging the reputation and reverence of Kamrunag Dev.

Committee Urges Public Cooperation

Thakur appealed to the community to stay vigilant and refrain from promoting any rumors or misconceptions about the deity. He made it clear that those responsible for spreading such malicious content would be held accountable and face the consequences of their actions.
