Also, Siddhi Kumari has presented a strong claim for the post of minister by contesting the election for the fourth time as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Bikaner East assembly constituency and winning.

Padmavati, daughter of Raja Laxman Singh, the current ruler of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, was married into the royal family to Narendra Singh Bahadur, the favorite son of the current Maharaja Karni Singh Bahadur of Bikaner, Rajasthan.

BJP candidate Siddhi Kumari is the favorite daughter of Padmavati. Siddhi Kumari told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that along with following in the footsteps of her royal family, her grandmother Mrs. Sushila Kumari and her mother Mrs. Padma Devi, she herself is now taking an active role in politics on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Siddhi Kumari told that she learned to serve the public from her royal family.

Siddhi Kumari ji has attributed her victory in the assembly elections to the blessings of the people of Bikaner East assembly constituency.
