In Himachal Pradesh’s tribal district Lahaul Spiti, people are also getting the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Under this scheme, people’s health cards are made and there is a free provision for treatment up to five lakh rupees in case of illness.
This scheme has come as a boon for such people who were unable to get treatment due to poverty. People of Lahaul Spiti district say that now they are getting easy and accessible treatment facilities.
There is Ayushman Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, it is proving to be very helpful especially for the poor people. Those who did not get medical treatment earlier are going out and getting free treatment up to 5 lakhs under this scheme.
