Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla has said that the Kiratpur-Manali foreline will increase the state’s income and people will get better transportation facilities. He inspected five tunnels built between Hanogi and Jahlogi yesterday.
The Governor said that after Atal tunnel Rutang, Kiratpur, Manali, forelane is such a project which is a different sight to see and the mind becomes happy after seeing the designing of the project.
The Governor said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it soon and on July 1, a team from the Center is going to come to inspect the project.
The governor said – On the first date, a team of three people will come from the ministry, which will do a complete inspection and on the basis of the report they will give to that inspection, further action will be taken.
On the basis of that, they will definitely do it and we want that the Honorable Prime Minister should come as soon as possible and inaugurate it so that the people can get the facility and get it well.
During this, the Governor went through the details of the project and also discussed the progress report of the remaining work. During this, Deputy Commissioner Arindam Chowdhary and Project Director of National Highways Authority Varumachari and other officials were present.
