Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has directed the officials to speed up the work of restoration of roads in apple growing areas. He said that the government has released Rs 50 crore to open roads closed due to heavy rains and landslides and the Public Works Department has been instructed to deploy additional staff for this work.

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has directed the officials to speed up the work of restoration of roads in apple growing areas. He said that the government has released Rs 50 crore to open roads closed due to heavy rains and landslides and the Public Works Department has been instructed to deploy additional staff for this work.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is working to provide relief to the disaster victims. There is still a scene of devastation everywhere. Himachal Pradesh has suffered huge losses due to heavy rains in all areas. The loss is estimated to be around Rs 2,000 crore.
The Chief Minister said – We have allocated the amount of disaster relief to all the flood-affected families for the immediate relief that came between July 7 and 11, and for the development works we have done fifty crore rupees, the roads that were closed because the apple season is going on.
And at the time of apple season, we have said that all the roads will be opened. Are there four other JEE facilities from roads to Chowk and additional AJIO, Exchange and other staff have been put in it by taking Kumarasan. Now another staff has been appointed in Chaugan Wale also.
And now I am going to have another meeting. So our government is making all efforts for the disaster affected people by working hard day and night so that disaster affected people get immediate relief.
The Chief Minister said that the NSG team has reached Shimla to investigate the incident of cylinder blast in the middle market of Shimla and has collected evidence in this matter. He said that the matter is being investigated from every angle.
