Trilokpur Temple Approves Rs 23 Crore Budget for 2026-27, Introduces New Cash Counting Rules
The Trilokpur Temple Trust has approved an estimated budget of Rs 23 crore for the financial year 2026-27, with the funds set to support development projects, construction works and charitable initiatives associated with the temple.

The budget was approved during a meeting chaired by Sirmaur Deputy Commissioner and Temple Trust Commissioner Priyanka Verma at her office in Nahan on Monday. Nahan MLA Ajay Solanki attended the meeting as a special invitee.
A key decision taken during the meeting focused on improving transparency in the handling and accounting of cash donations. The Temple Trust has prepared detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cash counting.
Under the new system, cash collections will be counted three days a week — Monday, Wednesday and Friday — in accordance with the prescribed rules. The Trust will also conduct periodic audits of its financial transactions to strengthen accountability and ensure proper monitoring of funds.
New Gaushala Planned for 1,000 Cattle
The meeting also approved the construction of a new gaushala at Trilokpur with a proposed capacity of around 1,000 cattle. The Temple Trust will also provide financial assistance for the restoration of the historic Lord Parshuram, also known as the Miya Temple, in Nahan.
During the meeting, MLA Ajay Solanki raised the need to improve basic facilities at the nearby Mata Lalita Temple. He urged the temple authorities to ensure the availability of drinking water and three-phase electricity at the site.
He also directed the concerned departments to focus on improving essential civic amenities in Trilokpur and surrounding villages, including electricity supply, drinking water, roads and ambulance services.
JCB Machines to Be Kept Ready for Emergencies
Solanki further instructed Temple Trust officials to ensure the availability of JCB machines for emergency restoration work and disaster management operations in Trilokpur and nearby villages.
Nahan SDM Rajeev Sankhyan, who also serves as the Joint Commissioner of the Temple Trust, presented the agenda items during the meeting.
With the new budget and financial monitoring measures, the Trilokpur Temple Trust is expected to focus on both infrastructure development and greater transparency in the management of temple donations.
