Himachal Cabinet Approves Over 5,000 Government Jobs, Opens New Employment Opportunities for Youth
In a major decision aimed at expanding employment opportunities for educated youth, the Himachal Pradesh Cabinet has approved the creation and filling of more than 5,000 posts across various departments.
In a major decision aimed at expanding employment opportunities for educated youth, the Himachal Pradesh Cabinet has approved the creation and filling of more than 5,000 posts across various departments.
The decision is expected to provide fresh employment opportunities for thousands of candidates across the state, particularly in the education, rural development, police and sports sectors.
As part of the approved recruitment plan, the Cabinet has decided to engage 3,950 personnel in 1,975 government senior secondary schools across Himachal Pradesh. Each school will have one chowkidar and one multi-task worker.
The Cabinet also approved the filling of 200 posts of Junior Office Assistant (Library) in the Education Department. In addition, 400 posts of Multi-Task Workers and 280 posts of Job Trainee Technical Assistants have been approved for gram panchayats.
To strengthen policing and improve administrative arrangements, the Cabinet approved 102 posts for Police Lines under the newly constituted Nurpur Police District.
Another 48 posts in various categories were approved to ensure the smooth functioning of the State-Level Sports Centre of Excellence at Kharidi in Nadaun, Hamirpur district.
The Cabinet also approved the creation of four Chairman posts for the establishment of Permanent Lok Adalats in Shimla, Mandi, Dharamsala and Una. In addition, two Member posts for each of these Permanent Lok Adalats were also approved.
The latest decisions are expected to strengthen manpower across key government departments while creating new avenues of employment for the state’s youth.
