SPU Mandi Decisions: SPU Mandi Itself Will Conduct B.Ed, PG Entrance Examinations, Decision Taken In The Meeting

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, March 27:  SPU Mandi this time will conduct the entrance examination for all PG courses including B.Ed. in Mandi and all other affiliated colleges, institutes. This decision was taken in the meeting of all statutory officers, deans, HODs of departments, deputy registrars, assistant registrars of SPU Mandi on Wednesday. The meeting was presided over by SPU Pro VC Anupama Singh. Pro VC Anupama Singh said that conducting the entrance examinations is the first step towards self-reliance of SPU.

In the meeting, the admission of students for the academic year 2024-2025 in the colleges affiliated to SPU Mandi was discussed in detail. After the discussion, a committee was unanimously formed under the chairmanship of E. Sunil Verma for the smooth conduct of the entrance examinations.

This committee, which includes Dean, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar Superintendent and Senior Assistant, besides the Controller of Examinations, will take all decisions related to the conduct of entrance examinations and admissions in SPU Mandi Campus and its affiliated colleges.
