Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Pandoh (Mandi), March 27:Â On one hand, BJP MLAs showed unity in the protest rally led by former CM Jairam Thakur on Wednesday regarding the Lok Sabha elections. At the same time, former MLAs and BJP leaders, who were angry over not getting tickets from BJP in the 2022 assembly elections, met in Pandoh and prepared the strategy for the Lok Sabha elections. The meeting was called at the behest of former BJP MLA from Drang, Jawahar Thakur. The meeting was presided over by Colonel Inder Singh, former BJP MLA from Sarkaghat. In the meeting, former BJP MLA from Kinnaur Tejwant Negi, former MLA from Anni Kishori Lal, former HPMC Chairman Ram Singh from Kullu, former MP Maheshwar Singh’s son Hiteshwar Singh, former state secretary and media in-charge Praveen Sharma from Mandi And Abhishek Thakur, son of former minister Roop Singh Thakur from Sundernagar, joined.

Let us tell you that in the 2022 assembly elections, except Colonel Inder Singh and Jawahar Thakur, everyone else had contested the elections as independents after not getting tickets. Now all eyes are on the Lok Sabha elections. Whichever party, BJP or Congress, succeeds in wooing them, they can go with them along with their supporters.
On the other hand, BJP has given shelter to the Congress rebels, but till now it has not paid any attention towards these people who have rebelled against their own party. There is information that these rebels can together field any of their candidates in the election field.
Former MLA Jawahar Thakur has confirmed to hold a meeting in this regard. He said that discussions are being held with everyone regarding what to do in the future. Further decisions will be taken only after discussion.
