Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Solan, March 20: An employee has died due to gas leak in an industry near Barotiwala industrial area of Solan district.
According to the information, the incident took place at Marine Medicare Industry located near Barotiwala. Around 12 noon on Tuesday, drug production work was going on in the third floor of Marine Medicare Industry. Meanwhile, due to gas leaking, the employees inside started suffocating and they ran outside to save their lives. Meanwhile, the driver of Marine Medicare Industry owner went inside the premises to control the fire. He tried but poisonous gas entered his body.

Seeing his condition worsening, he was taken to the hospital by the staff, but he died before reaching the hospital. The deceased driver has been identified as Kamlesh Yadav (33), son of Ram Yadav, resident of village Bhujani, district Ballia, Uttar Pradesh.

ASP Baddi Ashok Verma confirmed that the body has been taken to Nalagarh for post-mortem. Further action in the case is ongoing.
