Pratibha Singh, who reached Shimla from Delhi on Wednesday morning, said that she is not in a position to contest the elections.

Pratibha Singh said that elections cannot be fought merely by distributing MP funds. Our workers are disappointed and no worker seems to be active. If the workers were given responsibility on time, they would have got involved in the field.

Pratibha said that as Himachal Pradesh Congress President, She will enter the field with full preparation for the victory of the Congress Party candidate.

The resentment of the workers will have to be removed. It is noteworthy that Pratibha Singh is currently MP from Mandi.

Negi Nigam Bhandari, resident of district Kinnaur, has been active in Mandi parliamentary constituency for a long time. During the assembly elections, Negi Nigam Bhandari was in the race for Congress party ticket from Kinnaur. However, there is still a possibility of making Kaul Singh Thakur a candidate from Mandi.

Congress party sources said that a panel has been prepared in the names of Dayal Pyari, Amit Nanda, Kaushal Mungta and Yashpal Tanaik from Shimla parliamentary seat. In such a situation, there is speculation that Congress may also decide on Dayal Pyari as its candidate to divide the votes of Sirmour. Asha Kumari, Karan Pathania, Sanjay Chauhan and retired Major General DVS Rana are being seen as possible candidates from Kangra parliamentary seat. Congress is still stuck in a dilemma regarding deciding the candidate from Hamirpur parliamentary seat. The names of Ramlal Thakur and Satpal Raizada have emerged from Hamirpur parliamentary seat. However, eyes are on who the Chief Minister will decide to field from his home parliamentary constituency Hamirpur.

Never applied to contest Lok Sabha elections: Ramlal Thakur –

At the same time, senior Congress leader and former minister Ramlal Thakur has said that he never applied to contest the Lok Sabha elections. Whenever the Congress Party has given responsibility, he has fulfilled it. Former minister Ramlal Thakur did not reveal his cards regarding contesting elections from Hamirpur parliamentary seat and said that the Congress high command has the right to decide the candidate. While maintaining silence regarding the by-elections to be held in six assembly constituencies of Himachal Pradesh, Ramlal Thakur cited that the case of ineligible MLAs is in the Supreme Court. While talking to the media at Rajiv Bhawan, Himachal Pradesh Congress headquarters, Shimla on Wednesday, Ramlal Thakur said that he had earlier contested the elections from Hamirpur parliamentary seat on the orders of late Virbhadra Singh and the Congress high command.
