Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur has accused the state Congress government of not fulfilling the electoral guarantees.
Leader of the Opposition and former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur said during a press conference with Diary Times that Congress had given a guarantee of Rs 680 crore startup fund during the elections, but the scheme has not been started yet.
He said that under this guarantee, the Congress had promised the youth that after forming the government, a provision of Rs 10 crore startup fund would be made for each assembly constituency.
Jairam Thakur said that it is clear that Congress has cheated the youth as well.
He said that BJP had started Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Yojana for the people of the state, under which provision was made to give loans and subsidies to start Their Own businesses.
On the contrary, the Congress government has not been able to take any concrete step in the direction of connecting the youth with self-employment.
