A delegation of the Shimla Bar Association, led by its President Bunesh Pal and Secretary Puneet Dhanta, met Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu here on Wednesday and presented a cheque of Rs 1,11,111 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to the association for the contribution, describing it as a noble gesture. He said such financial assistance plays an important role in providing relief and support to people in distress and those in need.

During the meeting, the delegation also submitted a memorandum of demands to the Chief Minister. They sought the issuance of a notification for the Primary Health Centre at Chhakkar, Shimla, and urged the government to issue necessary directions for the maintenance and repair of the judicial complex building at Chhakkar.

Assuring the delegation, the Chief Minister said that all legitimate demands would be considered sympathetically. Other office bearers of the Shimla Bar Association were also present during the meeting.
