Jagan Thakur, the newly appointed Managing Director of the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Marketing and Consumers Federation Ltd. (HIMFED), paid a courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today.
The Deputy Chief Minister extended his best wishes to Thakur on assuming his new role and expressed confidence that under his leadership, HIMFED would scale new heights in the state’s cooperative sector.
He highlighted the vital role HIMFED plays in the state’s economy and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening the cooperative movement. Agnihotri emphasized that continuous efforts are being made to empower the cooperative sector and that HIMFED’s contribution is central to this mission.
He further expressed hope that Jagan Thakur’s administrative experience and professional acumen would enhance the efficiency and impact of HIMFED’s operations.
The meeting also included discussions on various cooperative initiatives and consumer welfare programs being undertaken by the organization.
