Senior journalist of Himachal Pradesh Anand Bodh passed away
Shimla, July 07:Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Secretary to CM Rakesh Kanwar and Director Information and Public Relations Rajiv Kumar and Media Advisor Naresh Chauhan have condoled the sudden demise of Anand Bodh, Senior Assistant Editor of Daily English Newspaper. Anand Bodh died of cardiac arrest on Sunday at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC), Shimla.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said that Anand Bodh worked with dedication in the field of journalism and brought important issues related to the society to the people through newspapers. He said that Anand Bodh had a deep understanding of various social issues and political developments in Himachal Pradesh. He will always be remembered in the journalism world for fact-based journalism. The Governor said that the death of Anand Bodh is an irreparable loss for the society, especially for the media world.

CM Sukhu termed the sudden demise of Anand Bodh as an irreparable loss to the media world. He said that Bodh belonged to Himachal Pradesh and has served in the field of journalism in Himachal Pradesh for a long time, due to which he had a deep understanding of the issues related to Himachal Pradesh.
The CM said that Bodh brought many issues related to the interests of Himachal Pradesh before the people through the newspaper, which shows his dedication towards the development of Himachal Pradesh.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that Bodh has dedicated his life to maintaining the high principles of journalism.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that as a journalist, he also got the opportunity to work with senior and dedicated journalists including Anand Bodh, which also gave him the opportunity to know the struggle behind the efforts of journalists to make the public aware.
CM Sukhu’s media advisor Naresh Chauhan said that Bodh will always be remembered for fact-based journalism. He said that Bodh dedicated his life to maintaining the high principles of journalism and also raised various issues related to the development of Himachal at the appropriate level through his writings. He had a deep understanding of various issues, due to which he got a special identity in the world of journalism. He will always be a source of inspiration for young journalists.
CM Sukhu’s Secretary Rakesh Kanwar and Director Information and Public Relations Rajiv Kumar said that Bodh will always be remembered for his incomparable contribution to the journalism world of Himachal. He said that Anand Bodh will always be remembered for fact-based journalism and raising issues related to the interests of Himachal. He prayed to Almighty God for the peace of the departed soul and expressed his deep condolences to the bereaved family.
