Additional Chief Secretary in Himachal Pradesh Government Omkar Sharma attended the program as the chief guest.

Dalai Lama has gone abroad for treatment. In such a situation, on his birthday, lakhs of followers living in the country and abroad wished Dalai Lama a long life and good health.
Additional Chief Secretary of the state government Omkar Sharma wished all the people of the Tibetan community on Dalai Lama’s birthday.
He said that Dalai Lama is not just the religious guru of Tibetans but many people around the world consider him as theirs. Dalai Lama gave the message of peace, brotherhood and harmony around the world. It is the good fortune of Himachal that Dalai Lama is in Himachal and because of him followers have come here from all over the country and abroad.
