Himachal Pradesh government’s PWD Minister and Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh, who lost to BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut from Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh Lok Sabha elections, has strongly condemned the slapping incident with Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh airport.
At the same time, Vikramaditya has termed Kangana Ranaut’s statement linking the slapping incident with the growing terrorism in Punjab as irresponsible.
PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh said this in the Shimla Rural Assembly constituency meeting held at Himachal Pradesh Congress headquarters Rajiv Bhawan, capital Shimla, after the results of Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections in Himachal Pradesh.
PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh said that from the very beginning, he has been condemning the slapping incident that happened with Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh Airport.
He said that such an incident should not have happened especially by CISF female security personnel Kulwinder Kaur deployed for security at Chandigarh Airport, action should definitely be taken against female security personnel Kulwinder Kaur by CISF.At the same time, Vikramaditya Singh said that linking the slapping incident with the increasing terrorism in Punjab is also not right by the Mandi MP, such statements are irresponsible.He said that CISF female security personnel Kulwinder Kaur sympathizes with the farmers, but a constitutional way has also been made to put the matter.
Apart from this, Vikramaditya Singh said that Modi magic has not worked in the country but Modi magic has worked completely in Himachal Pradesh.He said that the Congress Party High Command and the Himachal Pradesh Government need to rethink more about what was lacking in the Lok Sabha elections of Himachal Pradesh.
Vikramaditya Singh said that the Congress party’s performance in the Lok Sabha elections in Himachal Pradesh has not been good.He said that he will fulfill all the promises he made to the people of Mandi, Shimla Rural and Himachal Pradesh, for which a meeting of Shimla Rural Assembly constituency is being organised.Vikramaditya said that the work of maintenance, strengthening of roads and PMGSY is being done properly.
Vikramaditya said that in the last 15 months, the issues of Himachal Pradesh have been raised before the central government.He said that we will continue to advocate the interests of Himachal Pradesh before the central government.He said that after the formation of the new Central Government in New Delhi, he himself will go to New Delhi and demand that the interests of Himachal Pradesh be fulfilled as soon as possible.
