Himachal Pradesh vote counting: 31 strong rooms setup, counting will be done in 78 counting centers for Lok Sabha and assembly by-elections

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 03The results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are going to be declared after counting of votes across the country on Tuesday, June 4.All preparations have been completed by the Election Commission regarding the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections.The counting of votes for four Lok Sabha seats and six assembly by-election seats in Himachal Pradesh is to be completed by the Election Commission on Tuesday, June 4.31 strong rooms have been set up for counting of votes across Himachal Pradesh.In Himachal Pradesh, 72 counting centers have been set up for counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections and 6 additional counting centers have been set up for counting of votes for the assembly by-elections.
Out of the 72 counting centers set up for counting of votes for Lok Sabha elections in Himachal Pradesh, EVM votes will be counted in 68 counting centers and postal ballot votes will be counted in 4 counting centers.
Chief Election Officer of Himachal Pradesh Election Department Maneesh Garg told Diary Times that counting of votes for four Lok Sabha seats and six assembly by-election seats of Himachal Pradesh will be held on Tuesday, June 4. He said that all preparations have been completed for counting of votes in Himachal Pradesh. Along with this, all the officers and employees have been appointed in the counting centers. He said that all preparations have been completed for tight security in all the 78 counting centers of Himachal Pradesh.

He Said that Final counting of votes will be held in 31 strong rooms in Himachal Pradesh.For the counting of votes in four Lok Sabha seats of Himachal Pradesh, EVM votes will be counted in 68 assembly constituencies and postal ballot votes will be counted in four additional counting centers.Along with this, six additional counting centers have been set up for counting of votes for the assembly by-election seats of Himachal Pradesh.
