Sirmour News : Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, 684 private and 41 community toilets will be built in Sirmour district. In a meeting held in Nahan today regarding the Swachh Bharat Mission, Zilla Parishad President Seema Kanyal said that the Rural Development Department has been urged to fulfill the 100 percent target of construction of toilets in all houses under the mission.

Sirmour News : Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, 684 private and 41 community toilets will be built in Sirmour district. In a meeting held in Nahan today regarding the Swachh Bharat Mission, Zilla Parishad President Seema Kanyal said that the Rural Development Department has been urged to fulfill the 100 percent target of construction of toilets in all houses under the mission.

He said that plans are being discussed for the management of dry and wet waste, including the construction of toilets at the village level in the district. Apart from this, an action plan will also be prepared at the village level for the disposal of plastic waste.

He said – We have prepared an annual implementation plan for 2023 and 24. Under the Swachh Bharat mission, a plastic-based management system with a cost of sixteen lakhs is to be installed at seven places in Sirmaur district.

So what we will discuss today in this meeting that where and what is to be built and our money, which is being spent block wise in every panchayat, it will also be reviewed, that the panchayat has so much. There was a requirement and the money that is available, is it being placed in the right place or not and what will be the plan for the future, under the Swachh Bharat mission, today’s meeting is for that.
