Young Students of JVM Jindal Vidya Mandir, Sholtu, Tapri Kinnaur Along With Safety Department of JSW Hydro took the initiative With the aim of making the public aware of the harm caused by smoking and tobacco, on May 31, 2023, the young students of Jindal Vidya Mandir Sholtu, along with the Security Department JSW, organized a small anti-drug campaign on ‘No Tobacco Day’.

Young Students Of JVM presented a street play on the theme of WHO’s year 2023 “Food is needed, not tobacco” at Tapri bus stand-

Young Students of JVM Jindal Vidya Mandir, Sholtu, Tapri Kinnaur Along With Safety Department of JSW Hydro took the initiative Through rallies and street plays, the children made people aware against smoking, tobacco and drugs and explained how it is affecting our society badly and causing unbearable damage. Children presented a street play on the theme of WHO’s year 2023 “Food is needed, not tobacco” at Tapri bus stand. Along with this, a rally against drugs was taken out from JSW’s head office to Tapri main market and informed about the dangers of smoking and drugs. All the audience greatly appreciated this effort of the children and resolved never to take drugs and also took a pledge to make the state drug free.

During this, an oath was administered not to consume drugs and tobacco in schools. Students made street plays, poster-charts etc. and gave a message to the society to avoid the use of tobacco.
