Shimla : The state government will prepare a plan for the reconstruction of the fruit market in Shimla - Jagat Singh Negi

Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi has said that the state government will prepare an action plan for the reconstruction of the fruit market at Bhattakufar in capital Shimla. This fruit market was recently damaged due to landslides, due to which it has been declared unsafe.

Horticulture Minister took stock of this damaged fruit market and said that the technical committee of the department will evaluate it and submit its report to the government. He said that the state government is committed to provide better facilities to farmers and gardeners for selling fruits and vegetables.

He said – We want that this market should be revived once again, we will do whatever work is needed for the construction of people, protest work. Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh was also present on this occasion.

He said that except the area of Bhattakufer fruit market which has been damaged, the fruit market will be constructed at another safe place. Possibilities of vehicle parking and shops will also be explored in the new complex.

He said that the state government has decided to sell apples on the basis of kg and those who violate this will not be spared. There is a lot of space. It can be elevated and a parking can also be made in it and a stand can also be made to park trucks in it and shops can also be made, it is not a big deal.

So in this way, the Horticulture Minister assured the horticulturists of the area and said that the government will soon start the work of rebuilding this fruit market.
