16 Year Old Minor Raped
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, April 14: A case of rape of a 16 year old minor girl has come to light in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. The accused who carried out the entire incident is also a 16-year-old minor. New Shimla Police has registered a case at New Shimla Police Station on the complaint of the 16-year-old victim’s mother and started investigation. Both the victim and the accused study in school.

The mother of the 16-year-old victim told New Shimla Police that a minor boy had physical relations with her 16-year-old daughter. The accused youth is a resident of a town under New Shimla police station area. New Shimla Police is collecting evidence based on the statement of the 16 year old victim.

However, taking immediate action on the complaint of the 16-year-old victim’s mother, New Shimla Police has registered a case against the accused under Section 376 of the IPC and Section 4 of the POCSO Act.
