Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla , March 12: Road accidents are not stopping day by day in Rohru sub-division of Upper Shimla. Last Sunday, a grandfather and grandson were killed when a Bolero jeep fell into a ditch in Tikkar area of Rohru, while six others were injured.
Now a road accident has occurred again in CO Kainchi of Rohru sub-division, where an Alto car went out of control and rolled into a deep ditch. Five people including two children have been injured in the accident. The condition of one of them is serious and he has been referred to IGMC hospital. The other four injured are undergoing treatment at Civil Hospital Rohru.

According to the information received from Rohru police, on Monday evening Alto car Number (HP01B -4944) was going from Maindali towards Pujarli-four. During this time, the Alto car became unbalanced near CO Kainchi and fell into a Deep ditch about 150 meters deep.
Immediately after the accident, Rohru police team reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations. The injured include a couple and two children.
The injured have been identified as driver Anup (40) resident of Pujarli, Pooja (35) wife of Anup resident of Pujarli, Govind (57) resident of Karsa, Suhana (10) son of Mukesh resident of Karsa and Rashiteya (5) son of Mukesh resident of Karsa.

According to the Rohru police, this accident happened due to the high speed of the Alto car by the driver.
Rohru DSP Ravindra Negi said that five were injured in the accident, while one has been referred to IGMC Shimla. A case has been registered regarding the accident and action is being taken.
