SC grants interim bail to former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain on medical grounds
The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Satyendar Jain on medical grounds. The Supreme Court has granted bail to Satyendar Jain for 6 weeks. The Supreme Court said that Satyendar Jain will not make any statement in the media while on bail. The Supreme Court said that Satyendar Jain will have to submit his medical report to the court. The Supreme Court said that Satyendar Jain is not allowed to go out of Delhi NCR. The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Satyendar Jain till July 11. The next hearing of the case will be on July 10. The Supreme Court allowed jailed former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain to undergo treatment in a hospital of his choice and asked him to produce medical records.
The Supreme Court also said that during this period Satyendar Jain will not even try to influence the witnesses. During the hearing, Satyendar Jain’s lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that he has facts to argue on the merits of the case, but at this time he is only seeking relief on medical grounds. The same was opposed by the ED for granting bail. The ED said that Satyendar Jain should first be examined by the board of doctors of AIIMS or RML.
