Every year the incidents of missing tourists are coming to the fore in Manikarna valley of Kullu district. In such a situation, the Manikarna Valley Hotel association has urged the tourists to give necessary guidelines at the reception of the hotel and provide correct information about the tourist area.

Association’s president Kishan Thakur said that there have been many accidents involving tourists in the valley, due to which proper steps need to be taken to save them.

He said that many times the tourists going on trekking go astray and also become victims of accidents. In such a situation, it is necessary for tourists to take a guide with them so that they can be saved from accidents.

Kishan Thakur said that information boards have been put up in the Manikarna Valley not to go to the banks of the Parvati river. But despite this, tourists are becoming victims of accidents and risking their lives by getting down on the banks of the river. We had given instructions to the hotel that whatever you have at your reception, you have to write instructions for the tourists there. Whatever it is, whatever it is with the guide, go to the tracking

No one should go on tourist tracking without a guide. But our tourists who are in the process of saving money, those who are alone, they go to the jungles and after that they go astray and due to which whatever accident happens. Sometimes they go into the river, sometimes they fall from the mountain. We have put so many slogans on the banks of the river.

We tell tourists that brother, don’t go to the bank of the river, your foot will slip, but tourists don’t believe it. You don’t listen at all, don’t know what you are doing. Many tourists who were washed away in the river have been washed away and facing has been done in Manikarna where a boy of a tourist was washed away. They sit on the banks of the river and I would like the district administration and the police who are above it to take strict steps.
