Nekram Sharma, a resident of Nanj area of remote sub-division Karsog of district Mandi, is going to receive the Padma Shri award in Delhi on Wednesday, which is a matter of pride for the entire Himachal and remote subdivision. While giving information from Delhi, Nekram Sharma said that he has received an invitation to come to Delhi, due to which he has reached Rashtrapati Bhavan and is being conferred with the Padma Shri award around 4:00 pm on Wednesday afternoon. Nekram Sharma, an ordinary farmer belonging to a village in Karsog area, who launched a campaign to save the environment and make thousands of farmers aware of poison-free farming in the agriculture sector, is being given this Padma Shri award while saluting the Government of India. . Nekram said that in 2014, he joined Subhash Palekar Farming outside Himachal and after that the light of Subhash Palekar Farming reached Himachal as well and farmers were made aware for poison-free farming by continuously joining this campaign.
