Kangra: Police Prepared Charge Sheet Against Three People in the Case of Recruiting Youth in the Army By Taking Money

During the Agniveer recruitment, the police got hold of many facts on the allegation of luring the youth by taking money to get them recruited. Now chargesheet is being presented against three people arrested in this case including Punjab, Rajasthan and Kangra.

Kangra Police has prepared a charge sheet against three people in the case of getting youth recruited in the army by taking money. In this charge sheet, the name of a person from Kangra district including Punjab and Rajasthan has appeared.

A case in this regard was registered in Dharamshala police station in June last year. Agniveer recruitment took place in Dharamshala from 16 to 25 June 2023. During this time, at the recruitment site, a young man from Punjab was extorting money from the candidates and luring them to send them to the army.

On this, Dharamshala police had arrested Ravi Kumar, son of Kishan Chand, resident of village and post office Chanaur, police station Mukerian, tehsil Mukerian, district Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

During investigation, involvement of Auginder Singh son of Bhanwar Singh resident of village Bhilawat, Post Office Nosal, Tehsil Rupangarh, Ajmer Rajasthan and Sanjeev Kumar son of Purushottam resident of Panjihar, Post Office, Pudwa Tehsil, Dheera Kangra was found.

Kangra Police has now prepared a charge sheet against these three persons, which will be filed in the court soon.
