Independents KL Thakur, Hoshyar Singh and Ashish Sharma submitted their resignations to the Himachal Assembly Secretary. With this, with the resignation of the three independent MLAs, there are chances of new equations being formed in the politics of Himachal Pradesh. By-elections will also be held on the assembly seats vacant due to the resignation of three independent MLAs.

All three independent MLAs will contest the by-election from BJP –
