3 tourists along with a 25-member team of sheep herders stranded in Kara of Pin valley of Himachal Pradesh have been rescued today with the help of NDRF, ITBP police home guards and local people. On Sunday, there were two cloudbursts in a place called Kara in the Pin Valley, due to which a group of sheep herders got stuck in the middle.

3 tourists along with a 25-member team of sheep herders stranded in Kara of Pin valley of Himachal Pradesh have been rescued today with the help of NDRF, ITBP police home guards and local people. On Sunday, there were two cloudbursts in a place called Kara in the Pin Valley, due to which a group of sheep herders got stuck in the middle.

Let me tell you, the water in the drains was continuously increasing on both sides. In such a situation, it was difficult to get them out, but the NDRF team, under the leadership of Captain Inspector Prem Negi, conducted a rescue operation, in which despite the risk, the operation was successful. Four out of nine tents of the sheep herders were washed away, in which their ration was also kept. Although the sheep keepers have been taken out, but 450 sheep were left there, which could not be removed.

NDRF Deputy Commandant Dharmendra Thakur told that on July 11, the rescue team walked from Bhava valley towards Kara. Today, the team of the sheep breeding center jury of the Animal Husbandry Department is also included in the sheep breeders.
