Due to heavy rains and floods in the state for the last three to four days, the normal life has still not returned on track. However, every possible effort is being made by the government and the administration to restore the roads and provide relief to the affected.

Monsoon rains lashed many places in the state even today, hampering the relief work, in some parts of Kullu district most affected by floods and landslides, power supply was restored last night, people got slight relief .

Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg said that after road connectivity to Kullu Manali and some surrounding areas was restored last night, about 2,500 tourist vehicles have left the valley.

Efforts are on to bring life back on track even in flood and landslide affected Mandi and Shimla districts, due to continuous closure of drinking water supply schemes for the capital Shimla and surrounding areas, there is no water supply in the city today even after five days Pie.

Due to this, people in the city are facing severe drinking water crisis even in the midst of heavy rains. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted a slowing down of the monsoon in the next 24 hours, while the monsoon will once again become active from 14th July. Due to which yellow alert of heavy rain was issued at many places on 15th and 16th July.
