The national highway passing through Mandi to Pandoh is closed at six miles and other places due to landslides. Last night, one child was killed and three others were injured in the landslide at six miles.

The alternative route from Mandi to Kullu via Kaman is closed due to landslides at Kandi and Chadhi, while going to Gohar The second alternative route to Wala is closed due to landslide near Tilli.
On the other hand, due to heavy rains in the Bal Valley, a water-logging situation has arisen. In view of the situation, the local administration has issued an alert and advised people not to go out of their homes.
A State Road Transport Corporation bus going from Mandi to Shimla also met with an accident this morning near Kangu. Fourteen people including the driver and conductor were on board. Three passengers were injured in the accident.
