Himachal News : Electric buses running in the Himachal Pradesh are proving to be a profitable deal for the corporation
Himachal News : The electric buses run by the State Road Transport Corporation have proved to be a profitable deal for the corporation because the consumption of electricity in these buses is much less as compared to diesel.
The electricity bill of the first electric charging station set up at Dharamshala depot of the corporation for 42 days has come to only five lakh thirty two thousand rupees. Now the corporation manager has started assessing how economical the electric bus service is compared to diesel.
According to Pankaj Chadha, regional manager of Dharamshala division of the corporation, after the operation of these buses, the income of the corporation has increased by three percent. Fifteen electric buses which are providing services to the people in Dharamshala area as of today.
At the same time, he told that Dharamshala city has got these buses under the Smart City Mission and these buses are plying on almost all the routes of the city and all kinds of facilities are available in these buses as well as the facility of student pass. are also available
He said that I request all the people that all of you should take advantage of these electric buses and complete your journey in the least possible time.
15 electric buses of smart city mission have been included in the Dharamshala depot of the Transport Corporation. These buses are running on forty-nine routes.
