Himachal News : BJP MLAs have donated their one month’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. Under the chairmanship of Opposition leader Jai Ram Thakur, 25 Opposition MLAs handed over a check of Rs 13 lakh 80 thousand to Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu in Shimla today.
On this occasion, Jairam Thakur said that the opposition is standing with the government in the disaster since the first day and BJP MLAs are working to provide relief to the people in their respective areas.
Jai Ram Thakur said – In the disaster, the opposition has already made it clear that we are together in this disaster, this disaster is for the people of the state and we will try to help in whatever way we can for the people of the state.
All our MLAs have provided as much help as possible to such affected families in their respective areas. And along with that, we had a commitment that we will donate one month’s salary to the disaster relief fund. Today, we have given the same to the Honorable Chief Minister along with twenty-five MLAs. That about thirteen, thirteen, thirteen lakh eighty thousand rupees have been given to them in the form of a check and they should work, serve the people well, help the people, this is our aim.
