Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, May 15:Bharatiya Janata Party and Indian National Congress have announced the names of star campaigners to speed up the campaign before the voting on four Lok Sabha seats and six assembly by-elections in Himachal Pradesh.
In the list released late last Tuesday night, both the leading parties have handed over the responsibility of star campaigners to their most experienced leaders.

Bharatiya Janata Party has given prominent place to the names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party National President Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah among the forty star campaigners.
Apart from this, the Chief Ministers of six states ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party include Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Assam Chief Minister Hemanta Biswa Sarma, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has been included among the star campaigners.
BJP has included Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Smriti Irani, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Hardeep Singh Puri, Anurag Thakur among its star campaigners, And among the former Chief Ministers, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Manohar Lal Khattar and among the central BJP leaders Saudan Singh, Dushyant Kumar Gautam have been given place.
Former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Prem Kumar Dhumal, Shanta Kumar, Jairam Thakur along with Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Avinash Rai Khanna, Shrikant Sharma, State BJP President Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Manoj Tiwari, BJYM National President Tejasvi Surya, Rajya Sabha MP Indu Goswami, Professor Sikandar Kumar, Harsh Mahajan, Siddharthan have been made star campaigners of Himachal Pradesh.
Besides, Pawan Kajal, Shimla candidate Suresh Kashyap, Kangana Ranaut, Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj, Vandana Yogi, Bihari Lal Sharma and Trilok Kapoor will also be star campaigners.
