According to the information received, the Sukhu government of Congress had purchased medicines for the Jan Aushadhi Centers of Himachal Pradesh, but the Sukhu government is proving unsuccessful in paying the pending amount to the wholesale drug dealers, due to which the wholesale drug dealers are facing loss of around crores of rupees. The debt of money is on the Sukhu government of Congress.

Now, due to non-payment of pending amounts worth crores of rupees from wholesale drug dealers, the wholesale drug dealers of Himachal Pradesh are facing the biggest problem. On one hand, the Sukhu government is demanding a security of Rs 25 thousand from the civil supplies and medicine distributors, while on the other hand, the Sukhu government of Congress is still proving unsuccessful in paying the dues of medicine distributors for Jan Aushadhi Centers.

After all, what is the reason why the Sukhu government is not able to pay the pending amount worth crores of rupees to the wholesale drug dealers, but it is very clear that if this situation continues, then it will become more difficult to get medicines available in the Jan Aushadhi centers of Himachal Pradesh.

Clouds of crisis are going to loom in the Jan Aushadhi Centers of Himachal Pradesh because when the pending payment of crores of rupees to the wholesale drug dealers of Himachal Pradesh will not be cleared, then who will provide medicines to the Jan Aushadhi Centers of the state? It is also being told that the condition of the Jan Aushadhi Centers in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, has become quite pathetic. Payment of several lakhs of rupees to the respective wholesale drug dealers in Jan Aushadhi Centers in Shimla is not being paid by the Sukhu Government for a long time. At the same time, many medicines are not available in the Jan Aushadhi Centers of the capital Shimla. The patients coming to Jan Aushadhi Kendra also say that many times they go to the respective Jan Aushadhi centers and they are not able to get even the complete medicines.

Sanjeev Pandit, President of Himachal Pradesh Druggist and Chemist Association, told Diary Times that the Sukhu government has not been able to pay the dues of crores of rupees to the wholesale drug dealers in Jan Aushadhi Centers for a long time. Himachal Pradesh government is requested to immediately pay the pending amount of crores of rupees to the wholesale drug dealers so that medicines can be supplied smoothly in the Jan Aushadhi centers of Himachal Pradesh.

Crisis on Himcare & Ayushman card in private hospitals

The Private Hospital Doctors Association of Kangra district has announced not to provide treatment in hospitals under Ayushman Bharat and Himcare schemes from February 1st. Private Hospital Doctors Association held an important meeting and gave a stern warning to the Himachal government for this. The association has passed the resolution after holding a regular meeting. Private hospitals have taken this decision due to non-payment of dues under both the major schemes for a long time.

Private Hospital Doctors Association President Naresh Varmani and General Secretary Ajay Pathania said that both banks and suppliers have huge debts. Due to huge outstanding amount, the suppliers have now stopped supplying medicines and other essential items to the hospitals. In such a situation, after writing a letter to the government and not getting any response from them, this decision has been taken. He says that if the payment is not settled in the month of January then the services by the hospitals under Ayushman Bharat and Himcare schemes will be suspended from February 1st.

Decision taken due to changed circumstances

The Private Hospital Doctors Association has expressed regret to the people of the state for this decision. The association also said that it is forced to do so due to huge demand and difficulties in running the institutions. He said that due to huge pending bills and increasing debt, most of the members expressed distress and feared that they would either have to withdraw services under the above schemes or close down their hospitals completely.

Private hospitals of Kangra district will not provide facilities under Him Care Card from today –

Kangra District Private Doctors Association has held a meeting and prepared the future strategy in case of non-payment on time from the government. In which it has been clearly announced that from today only very poor and helpless people will be treated under the card. In the meeting Dr. Naresh Varmami, Varmami Hospital, Dr. Pathania, Apex Dharamshala, Dr. Karan, Karan Hospital Palampur, Dr. Dubey, VMRT Palampur, Dr. Pahwa, Pahwa Hospital Kangra, Dr. Garg, Citycare Multi Hospital Gaggal, Dr. Dattal Hospital Thakurdwara, Dr. KD Gautam, KD Hospital Dadh, Neeraj City Care Hospital Kangra, Doctors participated.

Giving information about the meeting, Dr. Prem Bhardwaj said that this decision has been taken in the meeting to stop the Him Care facility in all the private hospitals of Kangra district from February 1, except for the poor and needy. Whereas Ayushman Bharat card facility will continue till March 31. So that the government gets time to transfer all the balance funds till 31st March. He said that these hospitals owe crores of rupees to the government.

He said that the government has failed to maintain the MOUs made with these hospitals, which are being given 45 days time to pay the private hospitals. Due to non-payment of timely payments from the government to the hospitals, the hospitals are not able to make timely payments to their pharma Distributors, who are going through a serious crisis. Most of them are single hospitals and require constant funding to keep them running.

The Private Hospital Association has expressed deep anger over the financial condition of the government. At the same time, this demand has been made from the government and it has been bluntly announced that considering the actual situation, only very poor and helpless people will be given the facility of treatment under the card facility from today onwards. So that the burden on the government can be reduced.
