Director of elementary education Assam had recently released a statement regarding the availability of seats for the post of Assistant Teacher.

As per the notification the number of seats is 5320 seats.

Interested candidates having degree/ diploma in B. Ed/ B. Sc/ D. Ed can apply online for the job.

The dates of the submission of Application forms ranges up from 17 February, 2023 to 07 March, 2023.

DEE Assam Job recruitment 2023 – Vacancies available

Director of elementary education Assam reported that there are a total number of 5320 vacancies available for the posts of Assistant Teachers and Science teachers.

• Assistant Teachers for Lower Primary (LP)Schools :3887 seats.
• Assistant and Science teachers in Upper Primary (UP) Schools: 1433 seats.

The deatailed category wise reservations on the seats will be published soon by the authorities as per the rules prescriber by the government.

DEE Assam job recruitment 2023- Age limit

As per the Advertisement released by the Director of Elementary Education Assam, it is informed to the aspirants that the Age Limit is for being eligibile for the Applying for the posts are such as:

For LP Schools & UP Schools :

• The age of the Candidate must not be less than 18 years while it may not exceed 40 years for the Unreserved/ General Category.
• Age Relaxation for Ex-serviceman is 42 years.
• Age relaxation for Candidates belonging to Other Backward Caste (OBC) is

43 years.

• Age relaxation for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe is 45 years.
• Age relaxation for PwD Candidates is 50 years.

Note: The age of the candidates is calculated as on 1st January, 2023.

DEE Assam job recruitment 2023-  Eligibility Criteria

For UP Schools:

• Assistant Teachers: The Candidate must have a Graduations Degree from a renowned Institution/ University.

The candidate must also have a 2 years diploma in Elementary education/ B. Ed/D. Ed.

• Science Teachers:  Bsc from a recognized Institution/ university.

2 years diploma in B. Ed/ Elementary education/ D. Ed.

For LP schools:

Assistant Teachers:

• Senior Secondary with atleast 50% marks and 2 years diploma in elementary education.
• Senior Secondary with atleast 45% marks and 2 years diploma in elementary education in accordance with the NCTE norms.
• Senior secondary with atleast 50% marks and 4 years diploma in Elementary education.
• Senior Secondary with atleast 50% and 2 years diploma in Education.

After Applying for the Posts the candidated need to Pay the Application Fee to ensure the successful submission of thier forms.

The category wise Fee applicable to the candidates is given below:

• General/Unreserved: ₹200
• Reserved: ₹150

The Total Maximum marks that can be obtained by the Candidate is 330 marks.

• HHSLC Or equivalent: 100
• ATET/CTET: 100
• Professional Qualifications: 100
• NCC: ‘C’ Certificates (10 marks)

‘B’ Certificates (5 marks)

• Certificate in sport recognising Assam National level: 10
• Fine arts/ Cultural Actuvities at National level: 10

For Upper Primary School:

• HHSLC Or equivalent: 100
• ATET/CTET: 100
• Professional Qualifications: 100
• Graduation: 100
• NCC: ‘C’ Certificates (10 marks)
