Shimla, February 28: After the dramatic events of Rajya Sabha elections, there has been a big turn in the politics of Himachal. Vikramaditya Singh, Minister of Public Works Department of Sukhu Government and son of late Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, has announced his resignation from the post. He surprised everyone by announcing his resignation in the press conference.

Vikramaditya said that he has taken this decision in view of the current circumstances. Vikramaditya said that considering the situation prevailing in the party, this decision has been taken and it is not right for him to continue in the post. Therefore, it has been decided to resign from the post.

Vikramaditya Singh said that the MLAs have been ignored in the government. Becoming emotional, Vikramaditya Singh said that two yards of land was not found on Mall Road for the statue of six-time Chief Minister late Virbhadra Singh, perhaps it is not right for him to continue in such a government. He said that he has performed his post and duties very well. On the question of change of leadership, Vikramaditya Singh said that the party high command will decide whether there is a change or not. But he is resigning from the post.
