Alcohol is considered one of the most powerful, anti-depressives. It is also very addictive. Alcohol addiction is common among adults, but nowadays, even visible among teenagers. The intake of alcohol daily affects both mentally and physically. The Central Nervous System (CNS) with time gets adjusted to the consumption of alcohol. Thus, it becomes ineffective. Hence, the person increases the dosage of the intake of alcohol. This results in developing an addiction to alcohol. 

The cutting-off, of alcohol or the withdrawal of, alcohol results in severe symptoms that affect both mentally and physically. The severity of the withdrawal symptoms varies from person to person, depending on the amount of intake and period of intake. 

Heavy intake in men is said to be more than 15 drinks per week and for women is said to be more than 8 drinks per week. These symptoms that occur during the detonation or the cutting-off of alcohol are called Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms.

The diagnosis can be done by anyone, as the symptoms are easily visible. Behavior change is one of the biggest symptoms.   • Delusions
  • Confusion
  • Racing heartbeats
  • High blood pressure
  • Fever 
  • Severe sweating
