Sarkaghat Murder Case: Accused Vikas Patiyal Sent to 5-Day Police Remand in Siya Guleria Killing

In a major development in the shocking Sarkaghat murder case, the accused, Vikas Patiyal, has been sent to a five-day police remand by a local court, intensifying the investigation into the brutal killing of college student Siya Guleria.

Siya Guleria, a resident of Nain village under Sarkaghat subdivision in Mandi district, was allegedly murdered in a case that has left the entire region shaken and demanding justice.

According to police officials, Vikas Patiyal was arrested on April 13 and brought to Sarkaghat police station for initial questioning. On Thursday, he was produced before the court, where the police sought custody to carry out a detailed interrogation.

After hearing the arguments, the court granted a five-day police remand, giving investigators more time to uncover the truth behind the disturbing incident.
