Himachal PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh Honoured with World Books of Records Award at UK Parliament
Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh received a Certificate of Excellence from the World Books of Records at the UK Parliament’s House of Lords, calling it a proud moment for the state.
In a significant recognition, Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department Minister Vikramaditya Singh has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by the World Books of Records at a ceremony held at the House of Lords in the British Parliament, London.
Singh travelled to the United Kingdom along with his wife and mother to receive the prestigious honour, marking a proud moment for the state.
Expressing gratitude, Singh said the recognition was a matter of immense pride for him and for Himachal Pradesh. “This honour shows that a son of Himachal can bring recognition to the state on a global platform. Receiving this award from Lord Rami Ranger, a distinguished member of the House of Lords, is an honour not just for me, but for the sacred land of Himachal and for the faith people have placed in me,” he said.
The minister dedicated the award to the people of the Shimla (Rural) Assembly constituency, Congress party workers, supporters and his mentors, acknowledging their constant guidance and encouragement.
“This recognition inspires me to serve with greater sincerity, transparency and dedication. I remain committed to the development of Himachal Pradesh, the preservation of its cultural heritage and, above all, the welfare of the youth. This honour belongs to every citizen of the state,” Singh added.
