Nerwa (Shimla), (Himachal Pradesh) [India], January 13 (Diary Times): A road accident occurred in Deiya (Diyaldi), located in the Nerwa police station area of Chaupal subdivision in Shimla district. On Monday, an Alto car (HP08A-4931) lost control and fell into a ditch. Five people from two families, including two children, were injured in the accident.

The injured were immediately rushed to Civil Hospital Nerwa with the help of local people where after first aid they were referred to IGMC Shimla.

All the victims of the accident are residents of Jorna village of Pulvahal area of ​​Chaupal subdivision.

The injured have been identified as Bhagmal (39) son of Mast Ram, his son Divyansh (13), daughter Priyanka (11), Suresh Kumar (38) son of Sohan Singh and his wife Vanita (30).

According to the information received, the car went out of control on the road near Deiya and fell into a ditch. However, the exact cause of the accident is not yet known. Local people informed the police and relief team. A team from Nerwa police station immediately reached the spot and helped in the rescue work.

The police inspected the spot and completed the legal process.

In the preliminary investigation, the driver’s negligence has been said to be the cause of the accident.

Police said that after getting the injured medically examined, investigation into the case has been started.

After the accident, the local people immediately came forward to help. They took the injured out safely and helped in taking them to the hospital.

The team of doctors at Civil Hospital Nerwa immediately provided first aid and seeing the serious condition of the injured, they were referred to IGMC Shimla.

A police officer said that a case has been registered and the cause of the accident is being investigated.
