Shimla, August 22: Congress is protesting across the country demanding a JPC investigation on the Hindenburg report and removal of SEBI chief. In this connection, on Thursday, Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee protested in front of the Enforcement Directorate office in Chhota Shimla. Slogans were raised against the central government.

State Congress President Pratibha Singh said that the Hindenburg report has now proved how the Adani Group has affected business in the country. Congress has been raising this issue since before but now it has been proved in the Hindenburg report that Adani Group has taken over every kind of business in the country. Congress is demanding that a Joint Parliamentary Committee be formed and an investigation be conducted. Similarly, Congress also demands the removal of SEBI Chairman.

Congress national spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Rathore said during the protest that symbolic dharnas are being held today outside the ED office across the country by the All India Congress Committee. A big scam has been carried out in the country by the Adani Group and the involvement of the SEBI chairperson is also clearly visible in it.

The Congress is demanding an investigation into the matter and today a protest is being held demanding the removal of the SEBI chairperson from the post. Today there is a symbolic dharna but if the government does not wake up, then violent protests will be held in the future.
