The Himachal Pradesh government has given the gift of DSP to seven police inspectors by promoting them. A notification has been issued by the government in this regard. The police officers who have been made DSPs include Praveen Kumar, Chand Kishore, Ashok Kumar, Babu Ram, Harish Kumar, Yog Raj and Yashwant Singh.
Shimla, July 22: The Himachal Pradesh government has given the gift of DSP to seven police inspectors by promoting them. A notification has been issued by the government in this regard. The police officers who have been made DSPs include Praveen Kumar, Chand Kishore, Ashok Kumar, Babu Ram, Harish Kumar, Yog Raj and Yashwant Singh.
According to the order, the officers will submit their joining report to the Police Headquarters Shimla within ten days from the date of issue of this notification, failing which it will be considered that they are not interested in promotion and this order will be withdrawn. However, their deployment orders will be issued separately.
The state government has promoted these officers as per the Police Service Rules, 1973, recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee and in consultation with the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. These promoted police officers will be given the benefit of Pay Matrix Level 18.
