HRTC’s important decision: After increasing terrorist attacks, HRTC has stopped the interstate bus service of Chamba-Doda route

Shimla, July 16: In view of the terrorist incidents in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, HRTC has taken a big decision for security reasons and has stopped the bus service on the Chamba-Doda route. This important decision has been taken by HRTC keeping in mind the safety of the people.
HRTC MD Rohan Chand Thakur has confirmed this. Rohan Chand Thakur has said that the Chamba-Doda bus service has been stopped for the time being. Until the situation in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir becomes normal, the bus service on the Chamba-Doda route will remain closed.

It is worth noting that about 216 km of Chamba district’s border is adjacent to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Inter-state bus service has been started on the Chamba-Doda route by the Chamba depot of HRTC. This bus service used to leave Chamba headquarters for Doda every day at 6:30 am in the morning. The night halt of this bus service was in Doda. The return time of this bus service was fixed for the next morning, but for the last few days, an increase in the incidents of terrorist attacks has been recorded in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) state.
