Himachal News: BSNL is installing 1245 towers in Himachal for 4G and 5G services

Shimla, July 12: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is installing 1245 towers in Himachal Pradesh for 4G and 5G services, out of which 700 towers have been installed. 4G service will be available in every corner of Himachal Pradesh by the end of the year 2024 and 5G facility will be available at the beginning of the next financial year. This was said by Vivek Jaiswal, Chief General Manager, BSNL in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, during a function organized for the personnel who performed excellently in the enterprise business during the financial year 2023-24.

On this occasion, Vivek Jaiswal, Chief General Manager, BSNL Himachal Pradesh, said that about 45 percent cheaper plans than private mobile service companies are being given to the customers by BSNL. A target has been set to add one lakh 30 thousand high speed broadband customers in Himachal Pradesh this year. BSNL’s aim is to provide better and cheaper services to the people.

Vivek Jaiswal said that BSNL has more than 75 lakh fiber cable customers in Himachal Pradesh and a target has been set to complete the number of 1 lakh 30 thousand customers in the region by the end of this year.
