Himachal’s heartbreaking accident: Four people including driver and conductor died when HRTC bus fell into a 150 meter deep gorge in Jubbal

Shimla, June 21:A heartbreaking road accident took place in Jubbal, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, on Friday early morning.
In which four people including a woman died tragically when a Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus fell into a deep gorge in Giltadi area under Jubbal police station.
Two passengers died on the spot while the driver and conductor of the HRTC bus died on the way to the hospital. There were five to seven passengers in the HRTC bus during the entire accident.
The entire tragic incident took place at 7 am in the morning when the HRTC bus was going from Kudu to Giltadi. The HRTC bus driver lost control at Chuari Kanchi near Giltadi and the HRTC bus broke the railing and rolled down 150 meters and fell on another road. Fortunately, the HRTC bus got stuck on the parapet and was saved from sinking in the river below.
After the entire accident, there was a lot of screaming at the spot. Local people informed the Jubbal police station in-charge about the accident.
The Jubbal Police Station In-charge and the teams of Shimla District Administration started the rescue work along with the local people and pulled out the casualties and injured from the terribly deep ditch.
The Jubbal Police Station In-charge said that four people have died in the entire HRTC bus accident. Among them, the driver and conductor have also died. Post-mortem of all the four bodies is being done. Apart from the driver and conductor, the other two deceased are residents of local villages. The condition of all the injured is said to be critical in Civil Hospital Rohru.
