On one hand, BJP has JP Nadda from Bilaspur, Union Minister and four-time Lok Sabha MP Anurag Thakur, Rajya Sabha MP Sikander Kumar, former Chief Minister and MP Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, On the other hand, Congress has Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu from Hamirpur, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri from Una as well as Congress candidate Satpal Raizada.
