Himachal: Thief injured landlord with sharp weapon after not getting some items and ran away

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Solan, April 30: In Parwanoo sector adjacent to Parwanoo police station in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, a thief has escaped after attacking the landlord with a sharp edged weapon under the guise of theft. Parwanoo police station in-charge said that last Monday at 3 am in the morning, a young man first entered a house in Parwanoo sector to commit theft and after searching all the cupboards and finding nothing, the thief left the house after twenty minutes. He broke into another house but the landlord had caught the thief.During this time, the young man was carrying a sharp weapon with him and he took out the weapon and attacked the landlord and after seriously injuring the landlord, the thief fled from the spot.

The cloth covering the face of the thief had fallen while attacking the landlord. As soon as the information was received, the teams of Parwanoo police station seized all the belongings that had fallen from the thief and are trying to match all the CCTV footage. Parwanoo DSP Pranav Chauhan said that all the CCTV footage of the youth who attacked the landlord and escaped under the guise of theft is being matched and soon the accused will be behind the bars.
