Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shillai, April 06: An Electricity Board employee, who was installing fuse in the transformer under police post Ronhat in Shillai in Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh, died on the spot due to burn injuries. The accident occurred on Friday. The Shillai police have handed over the body of the deceased to the family members after post-mortem.

According to the information received, Lineman Jagat Singh, son of Laganu Ram, resident of village Panog, Tehsil Shillai, Konla Cheog, was installing fuse on the transformer. During this time the worker suddenly got a strong electric shock. The lineman died on the spot.

Shillai police station in-charge Pritam confirmed that the Shillai police conducted the post-mortem of the deceased on Saturday and handed over the body to the family members. He said that the Shillai police is investigating the matter.
